Background:

I grew up attending schools in the SRVUSD and then headed off to UCLA for my undergraduate career, where I majored in Psychology and received a minor in Education Studies. While at UCLA, I also became involved in research, studying adolescent development and working with under-served youth in neighboring LA cities. These experiences sparked my interest in supporting students navigate through their educational path. After UCLA, I decided to come back to the Bay Area and pursue my graduate degree in Counseling from SF State. I am so fortunate to be working at DVHS where I get the opportunity to work with such dedicated students, staff, and parents.

Philosophy:

I believe every student has their own unique strengths to offer and the potential to succeed when given the right support. My goal is to support each student in identifying their individual strengths and passions, and to create meaningful relationships where students feel challenged, yet empowered and supported in pursuing their personal goals.

Personal Notes:

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, reading a good book, watching a good movie, baking, and following sports (Go Warriors/ Niners!).
