TEACHING PHILOSOPHY: If you are engaged – you will learn!  My approach to in-class instruction is to create a vibrant environment that engages the mind and reaches multiple learning styles.

Communication between educators, students and community is paramount.
Students learn best when they are engaged.
Education prepares students for the future.
Thorough preparation is the foundation of a successful classroom.
Reaching all learners requires a diversity of strategies.
Teachers use many techniques to improve their instructional practices.
Learning a foreign language opens eyes, bringing understanding of other cultures to the classroom.
