Berkeley Business Program

Happy New Year! Thank you for your past support of the Berkeley Business Academy for Youth program. Last summer, Grace Lu attended the Entrepreneurship session and can share her experience with you and students. I am writing to inform you that the 2018 application process is now open.  This is the time to share with your students so they can write the essay and request recommendations from teachers.

Berkeley Business Academy for Youth (B-BAY) is an intensive and stimulating program where students are introduced to the fundamental principles of business, entrepreneurship, teamwork and leadership and are challenged to critically think outside the box to analyzing a business case or create a business plan for a product or service.  Students have the unique opportunity to collaborate with Haas faculty, PhD students, guests from corporate America and international and domestic peers with the same or similar interests. This is an opportunity for them to exchange ideas and create meaningful friendships that allow for a rewarding summer experience. This is a great opportunity for your students to spend their summer having fun while learning on the number 1 public US  university campus.

Upon completion of the program, students will receive a certificate from Berkeley Haas School of Business.  Students who are interested in business, in attending UC Berkeley, members of DECA or FBLA clubs are ideal students to apply to the program. Please visit our web site at www.haas.berkeley.edu/businessacademy for more information and share the link with your students.

The 2018 middle school Entrepreneurship session will be held June 17-29, 2018.  The high school  Entrepreneurship and Critical Thinking, Problem Solving and Creativity sessions will  be held July 7 - August 4, 2018.

Looking forward to your response

Keep it real!
