DVHS Music Students

What is DVHS Music Fund?

We are a Non-Profit Parent Support group for our Music students and Teachers at Dougherty Valley High School. We raise money to support all music programs (Band, Orchestra and Choir) here at DVHS. Our state and district provides us with extraordinary educators in the Music classrooms but that is all. 

DVHS Music Fund provides all the following to our Music Students here

- Sheet Music for all classes

- Instruments

- Instrument maintenance and repair

- Festival fees

- Transportation to various festivals

- Workshops with Master Clinicians for all groups

- Retreats for Orchestra and Choir

- Band Halloween Parades

- PEP Band for Football games

- Concerts

- Workshops in Leadership

All the above requires considerable amount of funds and volunteer hours. We encourage you all to join us for our monthly meetings and get involved with us.
