Background: I started my nursing career in 1993 as a critical care nurse in Sacramento. During graduate school, I worked in home health care in the Concord area.  After graduating as a family nurse practitioner, I worked for 10 years in a family practice office treating patients of all ages.  After taking time off to be with my two young daughters, I started working in the SRVUSD as a school nurse and health educator.  This is my 4th year at DVHS.

Teaching/Educational Philosophy:

Forgive yourself; you are not perfect.
Show yourself grace; you are still learning.
Show yourself patience; you are on a journey.

Personal Notes: I live in Danville with my husband and two daughters, ages 13 and 15.  They also attend schools in the SRVUSD. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, watching my daughter play soccer, the great outdoors, vacations, and spending time with family and friends.
