  • High School - Andrew P. Hill High School, San Jose, CA
  • College - Bachelor's of Science Degree from San Jose State University, San Jose, CA
  • Credentials - Master's Degree and Teaching Credential from Cal State East Bay, Hayward, CA

Teaching is my second career since Undergrad School. Directly from undergrad school at SJSU, I began my career as an Health Educator, in the clinic-based settings of the Alameda County Medical Center (Highland Campus) and the West Oakland Health Council, INC. I remained with the eWest Oakland Health Council, INC for 7 years before deciding to return to school full time to earn my Teaching Credential and Master's Degree of Science for Education in Curriculum.

Teaching/Educational Philosophy:

I love that I get to do two things that I really enjoy, combined into one; I teach Health Sciences!!! I also enjoy the Biological Sciences, Math and Technology. It is a real treat when all three combine into our Health Science lessons.

Personal Notes:

I am excited to be one of the many helpful advisors to better your child(ren)'s understanding of Health and the History of Medicine. Many well wishes to you on your journey to a rewarding career, whether it be in the Medical Profession, or other skilled and talented areas of the workforce and life. Cheers to you!

Warm Wishes for Bright Futures!
